With Prime Video app, you can begin streaming unlimited shows, such as movies and episodic TV shows, right from your compatible digital devices, such as the Fire TV Family, streaming media player, mobile devices and smart TV.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR DEVICE WITH YOUR AMAZON PRIME ACCOUNT

So, you are excited - since you recently purchased the digital device. Or perhaps, someone gave you the device as a present.

You so wanted to connect that new device to Amazon Prime so that you can soon start enjoying your favourite shows, reading  some books, watching and listening to digital content and exploring further what your Amazon Prime account has to offer.

So, it just makes sense to register your device with your Amazon account (whether that is Amazon.ca or Amazon.com).

FIRE TV OR FIRE TV STICK

Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick

If you have an Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick, follow the basic steps below to get started.

Quick Step:

Make sure you have logged into your Fire TV device or Fire TV Stick. ​​Then, on your remote control, find the home button and press on it. You can begin watching or exploring various shows.

If you haven't logged into your device, follow the three steps below:

First Step:

You can turn on your Fire TV device or Fire TV Stick.

Second Step:

Then log in with your Amazon account.

If you do not have yet an Amazon account, you create one so you can login.

Third Step:

On your remote control, find the home button and press on it.

You are now ready to browse your favourite shows and begin watching.

It's that easy.

MOBILE DEVICE

Using a mobile device, such as a tablet or smartphone, you can download the app for Amazon Prime Video.

​Simply sign in with your account and you can start watching.

LIVING ROOM DEVICE

With your living room device, you can begin by opening the app (Amazon Prime Video). If the app is not pre-installed, you can also access your device's app store to download the app. 

Now, you can register your digital device by choosing "Sign in and Start Watching" option.

Then,  provide your account details right through your device.

Alternatively, you can also decide to register on Amazon.com or Amazon.ca (or whatever Amazon default website) you use locally. 

​When you register on the website, you will be prompted to enter the five to six digit character code that is sent to you.

The moment you have successfully registered your device, you can then start streaming.
